Super healthy gluten free bread

This recipe is inspired by the classic Danish rye bread, but even healthier. What does super healthy mean? Gluten-free and plant based, and extremely nutritious due to the composition of nuts, seeds and kernels, fibers and good fats.

Ingredients

125 g sunflower seeds

100 g linseed

65 g hazelnuts or almonds

150 g oats

2 tbsp chia seeds

4 tbsp psyllium husks

1 tsp salt

1 tbsp maple syrup

3 tbsp melted coconut oil (or ghee)

350ml water

Preparation

Mix all dry ingredients in a bowl and mix the maple syrup, oil and water in a separate bowl. Add this to the dry ingredients and mix everything together until a thick mass is formed. Is the dough too thick to stir? Then add a little water.

Spoon the dough into a greased cake tin or use baking paper and smooth the top with the back of a spoon. Let this set for at least 2 hours. The dough is ready when the bread holds its shape outside the cake tin.
