Healthy Snickers

A Snickers can be so tasty, but at the same time it is a bomb of (refined) sugar and calories. Not the best choice, but it's so delicious! You can also make a healthy variant of a Snickers very easily, which contains natural sugars and good fats and which you can eat a few of without feeling guilty. We even prefer these ones!


  • 8 Medjoul dates

  • Peanut butter (from 100% peanuts) preferably with pieces of nut

  • Dark chocolate (at least 80%)


Cut the dates open and remove the pit. Put a spoonful of peanut butter in the date. Instead of peanut butter, you can also choose a different nut paste, such as cashew or mixed nuts.

Chop the dark chocolate into small pieces and sprinkle it over the filled date. Want to take it next level? You can also melt the dark chocolate au bain-marie and dip the dates in it. Place them on a plate and when the chocolate is solidified, you can enjoy! Tip: you can also sprinkle a few grains of sea salt over it!
